Travis Kelce set for $100million podcast deal amid Taylor Swift relationship
Travis Kelce is on the brink of joining the elite ranks of podcasting giants like Joe Rogan and Alex Cooper, as rumours swirl about him closing in on a whopping $100 million (£77.85m) deal.
With his older brother, ex-Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, Travis has seen their podcast ‘New Heights’ soar in the download charts over the past 12 months amid his budding and highly-publicised relationship with Taylor Swift.
The “New Heights” podcast drops fresh episodes every Wednesday and now the Wall Street Journal is throwing around the gossip that Amazon’s Wondery podcast network is potentially prepping to back up the Brink’s truck for the Kelce duo.
Cooper’s beloved “Call Her Daddy” is only pipped to the post by “The Joe Rogan Experience” in Spotify’s podcast pecking order in terms of its purchase price.
Rogan himself just pocketed $250 million (£194m) to stick with Spotify, but Cooper might be playing her cards in a high-stakes game with Sirius, as whispers of a $100 million play circulate figures that Wondery seems poised to parallel with their bid for the Kelce’s signature, reports the Mirror US.
Since its launch in 2022, ‘New Heights’ didn’t just tackle the NFL podcasting scene; it started climbing the whole chart, gaining “significant” momentum especially after T-Swift and Travis became an item.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end initially revealed his unsuccessful attempt to pass his number to the pop star on a podcast, when she was performing at the team’s NFL stadium. Swift then attended a game less than three months later, publicly confirming their relationship.

Since then, Swift and Kelce have been seen together numerous times, including at 13 different NFL games. The NFL star has also watched the singer perform in Argentina, England, Australia, and France.
The podcast has transformed into various formats since its inception. This includes their standard conference-style setup with each brother recording from different locations, face-to-face episodes – even one at a Philadelphia-themed pub in London – and a live show at the University of Cincinnati.
Jason, who hung up his boots after 13 seasons in March, is gearing up to join ESPN as an analyst on ‘Monday Night Countdown’. His reported podcast deal with Wondery will not affect this role.
Travis has now returned to the Chiefs for training camp, with the team aiming to be the first to win three consecutive Super Bowl’s.
