Albert Breer gives crucial insight into the money Jerry Jones will pay Parsons and Lamb
America’s Team is swamped with numerous vital key player contracts this offseason and Albert Breer gives an insight into what value Micah Parsons CeeDee Lamb’s market value will be.
For the Cowboys to even stand a chance of winning the Super Bowl in New Orleans next year they will have to pay Parsons and Lamb.
The front office must keep their star players happy and both will be bargaining for the most money possible.
Furthermore, with both star players having arguments to be the best in their respective positions, they will be paid in record-breaking fashion.
Lamb and Parsons eligible for new deals in lucrative markets
CeeDee Lamb has entered the final year of his rookie deal and is holding out from the OTAs to leverage a new deal.
In addition, Parsons is eligible for an extension after entering the third year of his rookie contract.
Lamb sat in a crowded wide receiver market, where A.J. Brown, Justin Jefferson, and Ja’Marr Chase were all looking to be paid.

The Philadelphia Eagles were proactive and got ahead of the ever-growing market. They gave Brown a record-breaking three-year $96 million extension.
Therefore, the Cowboys’ NFC East rivals jumped ahead and paid their receiver before it got more expensive.
Strong reports have suggested Justin Jefferson could obliterate the market when he agrees terms with the Minnesota Vikings.
NFL expert predicts what the Cowboys will be forced to pay Lamb and Parsons
On the Rich Eisen Show, Albert Breer speculated what the Dallas Cowboys could be forced to pay Parsons and Lamb.
“So, we already have them (Cowboys) working with Micah Parsons off of what Nick Bosa got last year, so that market already exploded and is above $34 million per [annum],” Breer said on Parsons’ finances.
“Now we got CeeDee Lamb in a market that was at $25 million but could be at $35 or $40 by the time Justin Jefferson signs.”
The Cowboys’ hesitation when it comes to Lamb’s lingering extension will only make the final number more expensive.
Ultimately, the market speaks volumes when players fight for more money and the Cowboys have shown they do not want to get ahead of it.
Jerry Jones’ delaying has ruffled feathers among NFL reporters
Mike Florio has bashed Jerry Jones’ outdated negotiation tactic in recent weeks with other analysts struggling to understand their delay.
Everyone knows the Cowboys will pay them, so why not make it cheaper for yourselves?
Breer implies that Jefferson could push the market up a ludicrous $15 million and the Cowboys will feel the damage.
When the franchise has highlighted cap space before as the predominant issue, saving money on key player deals would go a long way in helping.
