Chiefs News: Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs among 2024 ESPY Award nominees
The 2024 nominees for ESPN’s ESPY Awards have now been announced.
The Kansas City Chiefs have been nominated for Best Team in all sports. Even though he is coming off one of his worst statistical seasons, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes is among the nominees for Best Athlete in men’s sports and Best NFL Player. A year ago, Mahomes won both awards.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (also nominated for Best NFL Player) is nominated for Best Play in all sports for catching his own pass during the AFC Championship against the Chiefs.
After her historic finale with the Iowa Hawkeyes, Caitlin Clark collected nominations in three categories: Best Athlete in women’s sports; Best College Athlete in women’s sports and Best Record-Breaking Performance.
You can vote online in all 21 categories. The winners will be announced during a live ABC telecast on July 11 at 7 p.m. Arrowhead Time.
