Miami Dolphins offense will be “on another level” in 2024 according to Raheem Mostert
Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert is very excited about offense’s offseason improvements.
On a recent episode of “Chasin’ It,” an online show featuring former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel and longtime sports personality and former host of NFL Live, Trey Wingo, Daniel recounts a conversation he had with Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert at the NFL’s Broadcast and Media Workshop — also known as the Broadcast Bootcamp — where the 32-year-old runner expressed how excited he was for the Dolphins’ 2024 offense due to the improvements that were being made in the offseason.
“I was with Raheem Mostert, actually, the running back who just signed another deal… and he was at the Broadcast Bootcamp and he was just talking, he was like, ‘Dude, I’m telling you, this offense is going to be on another level this year, because we are going to be able to run and throw. We’re going to learn from our mistakes.’”
Daniel went on to say how Mostert was “very, very excited” about what Miami’s offensive leaders are doing to get better in the offseason. The former NFL quarterback did make sure to say that he’s sure that every player is saying complimentary things about their own offenses, but that Miami has “all the weapons, no doubt about it.”
This segment was part of Daniel’s listing of his top-five NFL offenses. He ranked Miami as the second best offense in the entire National Football League heading into the 2024 season.
The funny thing is, if Miami ranks number two in offense this upcoming season, that would actually be a step down for the squad. In 2023, Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and company led the NFL in all purpose yards by an offense with 6,822 — including the 2nd best passing offense (4,698 yards) and the 6th best rushing attack (2,308 yards). They lost just 184 yards due to sacks taken by quarterbacks — the 2nd best mark in the league.
If the 2024 version of the Miami Dolphins offense is “on another level” compared to last year as Mostert says it will be, opposing defensive coordinators will be losing plenty of sleep when they’re tasked with preparing to face the squad clad in aqua and orange.
