Phinsider Question Of The Day: Only 5 More Days Edition
After all the waiting, the free agency period, the draft, the mini camps, and that period of time where nothing happens, we will finally have live Miami Dolphins football to watch again this coming Friday evening. I am happy to have something to ask legit questions about again and see my Phins in action again. I assume you also have questions, as I do, that I want answered by viewing the team live, even if it’s just a glorified exhibition game without all the starters. We will see many of our free-agent acquisitions, backups still attempting to secure a spot on the roster, and the slew of draft picks and undrafted free agents.
What about the guy I’ve been hearing and reading about? You know, the one guy that’s just blowing it up at camp. Okay, now show me on the field against some other NFL-level-ish talent. What about the dude everyone says has taken some massive leap year over year and is ready to truly contribute or possibly even start? How about Mike McDaniel? What has he learned year over year? What new “wrinkles” are we going to see with the offense? Will we finally incorporate the tight end as a legitimate target in the passing game week in and week out? I could continue with these questions forever, but you get the idea.
So this evening’s question of the day is:
What will you personally be looking for in this week’s coming pre-season game? Is it a player? If so, who? Is it something about the team in general on offense or defense? Is it a unit that you need to see start to gel early on? It can be literally anything; just let us know what you want to see or will be on the lookout for.
Please give us your answers and thoughts on the question of the day in the comments section below-
