The Great Pyramid Of Giza has 8 sides not 4.
Mystery and lore surrounds the Great Pyramid of Giza, and continues to this day.
Currently accepted theory, first postulated by Herodotus, born in 484 BC, states that the Cheops pyramid was built over 20 years using 2,300,000 stone blocks, each weighing approximately 1.3 tons. A simple calculation shows the builders would need to lay a stone every two minutes in a 10-hour work day to build the pyramid in 20 years. Plainly an absurdity, yet this absurdity has the official seal of approval from the learned community.
Basically, nobody knows how the ancients built this massive structure thousands of years ago. It is also not known how they quarried, transported, and placed thousands of massive stones into position, using only copper tools on granite, one of the hardest rocks known. There are lots of theories from the learned who claim to know, and they published books to prove it.
The Cheops pyramid was built with incredible precision, and is considered the most accurately aligned structure on the planet, facing true north with only 3/60th of a degree of error. There is no explanation regarding evidence of precision cutting and drilling, something only modern tools can replicate. The evidence is simply ignored.
Something many people would not know is that this pyramid has eight sides, not four! This fact was first mentioned in La Description de l’Egypte in the late 1700’s by Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie, who was an English Egyptologist and a pioneer of a systematic method in archaeology and preservation of artifacts. Many theories were proposed, but no acceptable explanation has been given why the Cheops pyramid is built in such a way.
Every side of the pyramid has a slight concavity along the center, aligned perfectly with the four cardinal points. This concavity divides each side in half, and is executed with extraordinary degree of precision. Viewed from any ground position or distance, this concavity is quite invisible to the naked eye. The feature can only be noticed from the air, and only at certain times of the day. This explains why virtually every available photograph of the Great Pyramid does not show the phenomenon, and why the concavity was never discovered until the age of aviation.
It was discovered by accident in 1940, when a British Air Force pilot, P. Groves, was flying over the pyramid. He happened to notice the concavity and captured it in the now-famous photograph.
Hussein Abdel-Basir, an expert on Egyptian antiquities, states that the sides of the Great Pyramid of Cheops has four sides and not eight, as is claimed by some individuals, and has no scientific basis, all evidence to the contrary. He claims the pyramid is a perfect tetrahedron, and its base is a regular polygon. Its sides are made of four triangles, and all the triangles are identical.
Theories abound as to who build the Egyptian pyramids and when, from aliens, Atlantians, or the ancients had advanced technology now lost. There are no answers—yet—and the mystery endures.
