What’s holding up the Tua Tagovailoa contract – Miami Dolphins News 7/8/24

The Miami Dolphins will begin training camp towards the end of the month and the hope was that the team would have given quarterback Tua Tagovailoa a contract extension by then. Quarterbacks around the league are getting paid but Tua and the Dolphins have been unable to come to terms with a specific number. For the past two years under Mike McDaniel, Tua has had the best seasons of his career but has no playoff wins. While stats are great and all, the ultimate goal is to hoist that Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season. So what is it going to take to get a deal done for the Dolphins and Tua?
